Ron Paul, Hillary Clinton, Dennis Kucinich, and Barrak Obama,...

This year, I'll be supporting whatever Democrat gets the party's nomination for president. I got a chance to see Barrak Obama speak a couple months ago, and while he is an amazingly charismatic speaker, he seemed a bit of an empty suit. I don't understand why people in this country don't vote strictly on the issues. It may have something to do with the way TV news is so personality focused in this country. I'm not opposed to another Clinton economy. Ron Paul is fascinating because he's right about Iraq and our need to cut military spending. However, it's Dennis Kucinich, that holds all of the correct positions to suit my needs. He's in favor of impeaching Cheney, universal health care, moving the excessive military spending to improving the health of our nation, and expanding protection of our environment.

It's presidential election time, and like most progressives I'm active in the political process. This time around I'm backing Dennis Kucinich. Few people give Kucinich the respect the progressive democrat deserves.

The best political coverage this season comes from John Nichols at the Madison Capital Times. I also regularly read the Boston Globe, but most of what I read comes from various blogs and other web media. There are a ton of signs in Arizona for Republican Ron Paul, though people serious about those positions should be supporting Kucinich, who is serious about a whole host of real progressive issues.

There are a ton of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and NLP coaching trainings, but there aren't many of quality in the Bay Area outside of Robert Dilts' NLP University. Music City: A project for a city that's been an arts and culture center for the world.

San Francisco, a city which has been a cultural mecca launching key movements in music, art, theatre, performance, photography and dance, will now have it's own music and culture museum.

Music City is planning on featuring a San Francisco Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, which will feature items from such San Francisco bands as the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, the Charlatans, Santana, Sly and the Family Stone, Metallica, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Country Joe and the Fish.

In a city that used to be such a Rock and Roll mecca, the idea of Music City is to reawaken that spirit again. You can learn more about the construction of the project here.

The Unauthorized Rolling Stones which are deeply tied to the project have some videos online as well of them rocking through traditional stones classics such as Under My Thumb and Beast of Burden.

Music City

A very cool musical project is coming to the Nob Hill neighborhood. A center for the performing arts center along with cafe, nightclub, 38 recording studios and dorms plus Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is moving right by Nob Hill and is sure to bring some great music with it.

The San Francisco Independent already called it a ..."Groovy Idea", and Beyond Chron said it would create "...the kind of atmosphere we really need in this town." UnionSquare has a picture of the building.
